Voice / Data Integration Solutions The phone system solutions provided by JPB Consulting are based on a consolidated voice / data platform. In addition to providing a feature-rich, high-quality communications experience, significant cost savings in network management are attained along with the flexibility to change the environment as business needs dictate. JPB Consulting offers four solutions which will provide your business with all of the features and functionality required, plus a number of additional features for future expansion. The individual configurations are similar as many components are consistent across all; however, the differences have an impact on the total cost of ownership and availability of service. Private Solution with Traditional Phone Service – This solution integrates an iPBX (Internet-ready Private Branch eXchange) server and IP handsets with traditional phone service (ex: AT&T) providing a hybrid solution. This option is recommended for companies with an existing phone contract or those who require high availability of their voice service. Private Solution with Voice over IP (VoIP) Phone Service – This configuration does not utilize traditional phone service. An iPBX server and IP handsets with a VoIP service provider are combined to offer a true IP-based phone system. This option offers the lowest total cost of ownership in many cases and provides a great amount of flexibility. Private Solution with VoIP (or Hybrid) and an Off-Site iPBX – This solution is the same as above except that the iPBX unit is located off-site in a secure data center. Phone connectivity can be provided via VoIP or traditional phone service. This option is recommended when available space is limited or environmental concerns are present, multiple locations are to be connected or a higher level of redundancy in a controlled environment is required. Managed Voice Services – This solution utilizes a shared, hosted iPBX service and therefore offers the lowest entry cost.
